What: What is manifesting anyway? I believe it is when we can feel something from a thread of our future possibilities and call that feeling to us. Sure there is planning and ambition involved, however, I've found the most productive (and fun!) way to manifest big things is by feeling them clearly. Once we recognize that feeling within ourselves then we can look at aspects of our lives to better understand what lines up with that feeling. To the things are aligned with what you want, follow them!
Change is only possible when we allow it to happen within ourselves. This starts with awareness of how we think and talk about ourselves. For example, "I never get what I want" is a limitation. Instead, consider saying to yourself "I am the source of all my achievements." Small updates to how we talk to ourselves are the start of not only cognitive change as well as manifestation.
